Fengbo Obtains MID Authentication Capability
May 20, 2024 is the 25th World Metrology Day. The "World Metrology Day Event and Metrology Service Henan Industrial Development" conference hosted by Henan Institute of Metrology and Testing Science was successfully held at the Henan Institute of Metrology and Testing Science Pingyuan New District Test Base. Mr. Yang Dezhu, Chairman of Fengbo Metrology Group, was invited to attend the meeting.
This conference aims to give full play to the basic support and leading role of precise measurement, further create a good atmosphere of attaching importance to measurement, standardizing measurement, and honest measurement in the whole society, and help Henan's high-quality economic development.
Henan Institute of Metrology and German Rhine TUV Group have successfully reached a strategic cooperation and obtained MID certification capabilities. MID is the abbreviation of the Measuring Instrument Directive. It is the current EU regulation used to supervise and manage measuring instruments. It is also a stepping stone for more than 10 domestic metrology products to be exported to Europe. Henan Institute of Metrology successfully passed the EU MID certification on-site technical review and obtained the technical "pass" for China's "three meters" (water meter, gas meter, heat meter) to enter the EU market.
Witnessed by the leaders of Henan Inspection Group, the president of Henan Institute of Metrology and representatives of TUV Rheinland, Henan Fengbo Intelligent Water Network Co., Ltd. signed a test agreement with Henan Institute of Metrology to apply for EU Directive Certification (MID), officially becoming the first batch of manufacturing companies in Henan Province to apply for MID certification.
